The CEO of 1st Community Care Connections
Destiny McCoy, LCSW, is the CEO of 1st Community Care Connections. Destiny has over 13 years of experience working in mental health. Destiny's experience and commitment to mental health and social justice make her a force for good and a true believer in "good trouble." Since 2010, Destiny has worked passionately to increase opportunities for marginalized populations through her work, where she has extensively worked with justice-involved individuals, youth, and urban communities. She strategically consults organizations and individuals on creating, promoting, and sustaining wellness and positive mental health practices with specific expertise in general anxiety disorder. As a result, her clients learn to implement realistic wellness practices that positively support, elevate, and empower their well-being leading to increased confidence and sustainability. Destiny often says the following regarding her work's purpose: "I care about people, and that is my superpower."
